Hi, everyone, I am back trying to get Grandma's book digitalized/typed so everyone can read it and down load if they choose. I had decided that if I typed 2 pages a day I would be done on May 2nd 2019. But, I decided I would give my self a little extra room since I plan to be out of town some of April. So I made my deadline June 1st. Now today, I scroll down and find that my typing and for what ever reason, it starts on page 57!!!! What the heck! I don't know what happened to the other pages--- if they got lost/deleted somewhere in the distant past or if page 57 was where I started. Any way that adds another 50+ pages so now it might not be done until July 1st. Anyway, I guess I'll be the turtle from that movie we saw in grade school--slow and steady wins the race! Denver, by the way, do you remember the secret word? And the name of the song? I know you do!!!! Hope everyone is well and healthy and that grandma and grandpa's posterity is growing and prospering.
Addendum!!! When I scroll back though the actual blog ALL the pages are there! It just doesn't let me go back beyond that page 57 post in the writing/editing page. So God is Good and we are back to the June 1st or before goal!

- I am (by choice) a mother of eight imperfect children and 21 perfect grandchildren. I'm a distractable dreamer with a multitude of unrealized goals because through a cruel twist of genetic fate I seem to lack the "do it" gene! I have weathered decades of unleashed chaos (8 kids + distracted mother + small house = chaos) and have experienced abundant joy and substantial heartache. Now that all eight of my beloved offspring are foraging on their own (and I have a room of my own) I am hoping to figure out who I am. My prayer is that I can make a positive difference and endure to the end by trusting in the care and guidance of my Heavenly Father who knows me best. (It would help though if I could figure out who I'm supposed to be.)
